Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Financial Advisor. The incumbent will oversee financial planning, finance, retirement planning, investments, and financial advisory services. Responsibilities include offering comprehensive financial guidance to clients, overseeing their financial portfolios, and providing astute advice to help them reach their investment objectives. The Financial Advisor must also adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- RE5 Financial Services qualifications + NQF5 (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, encompassing financial analysis and forecasting
- Expertise in Finance and Retirement Planning
- Ability to dispense sound investment counsel
- Prior experience in Financial Advisory
- Exceptional communication and attentive listening abilities
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- Professional Certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
- Assess client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
- Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision
- Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research market to back up financial consulting
- Comply with all local South Africa industry rules and regulations

Please note: This position would typically suit experienced RE 5 and NQF 5 resident candidates with permanent residence in South Africa. Any and CISI / CII qualifications would also be highly valued. This position is NOT for someone from the accounting / auditing or financial management profession. This is a client facing, sales and targets driven financial services sales profession.
