Hi everyone, It's mid-week, and I realize I've sent quite a few messages over the past couple of months. While I do love what I do, I also really want you to understand what's at stake here. Ask yourself: Why are you on this mailing list? Maybe a friend referred you, or perhaps I added you because I thought you’d find value here, or you added yourself. Either way, what is it that most people on this list want at one point or another? The likely answer is that there’s something in your life you'd like to change or improve. I get that. Just do remember though that if you don't take action, you'll stay exactly where you are. I know you've heard this before, many times...but it’s the simple truth. I don’t claim to have all the answers to life’s questions, but I study people — and some of the most influential ones in this business are my clients, some are even friends. So ask yourself again: Why are you seeking change? What are your reasons? And equally important, what's holding you back from taking that first step talking to me? Decide whether you’re ready to put your plans into action, now. Because if you do, years from now, you could very well be living the life you’re only dreaming about today. And when you're ready, I’m committed to walking that path with you as I have done with many others before.
It’s better to have never heard about what I do and take no action, than to KNOW and then still do nothing. It all starts with you. YOU are that key to positive change in your family (the foundation of society) and even in your community. Will these emails continue indefinitely? Probably not, though some of you have been receiving them since 2016! That's a lot of newsletters and I guess it goes without saying that I play the long game. There are 8000+ of you getting these updates. I like stats and trends etc., and so its interesting to see who comes and goes, who drops off, I see those just coasting along...and enjoy seeing those who really succeed! Its fascinating to observe.
Remember, research shows that out of 100 people at retirement: Only 1 will be rich, 4 will be financially independent, 5 will still be working, 12 will be broke, 29 will be dead, and 49 will depend on family and charity...
Where will you be? As advisors, we often pitch these lines to disturb clients into action (and yes, to make a living), but the truth is, I’ve seen countless professionals in various fields actually NOT practicing what they preach! I’ve spoken to too many broke financial advisors, have seen architects whose homes are falling apart, mechanics with broken-down cars, and accountants who can’t seem to balance their own books. The list goes on. Maybe (hopefully!) that’s not you! That all said, it's also important to take care of yourself — it’s really okay to be selfish in a sense at times, -thinking of yourself for once. Think of it like putting on your own oxygen mask before helping others, that type of thing, you know what I mean
Anyway, enough of that all, let's get cracking! |
