Here's an oldie for those who's been on here for a few years!
An ancient Persian poet once said; "If thou hast two pennies, spend one on bread. With the other, buy hyacinths for thy soul.
Poetry, yes, but good common sense as well.
To buy "hyacinths" for the soul ? – means to nourish your mind and heart with good reading; to become informed, alert, interested in what others say to you, and to be interesting in what you say to others -- it's just as important as progress in your IFA business, personal or social life.
Are you really getting what you need in financial career right now? Is it as advertised on the box, OR is it time to make a positive change and go somewhere your skills could be put to better use?
“I’m quite happy where I am”…I often get told, and it’s great ! However, I still do find it somewhat amusing that 90% of those who said it at the time moved on to somewhere else, often with us. Life goes on, better opportunities come along, sometimes when you least expect it. It’s all in the name of PROGRESS, and loyalty alone does not pay the bills, right?
So, don’t stagnate or limit yourself ever. Growth can only happen where there is actual LIFE present.
One MAJOR advantage you have with me is this:
Because I have a birds-eye view on the industry, -work with everybody who's worth working with, I get this unparalleled and unique perspective very few others have because of what I do.
No matter what you might have "heard" about company X or Y, of what your mates-buddys-girldfriend says about this or that company, -you will get the unvarnished, HONEST truth from me from a personal experience and interaction perspective. In fact, I have actually worked for some of the companies I recruit for, and have lived in a few countries myself. Nothing beats a personal account testimony or recommendation.
I don't get a salary to fill seats or meet quotas perhaps like an in-house recruiter. I don't do refunds or want blow backs either...and so what I recommend HAS to work for everybody. Look, there's the exception to everything in life, let's be honest, but more often than NOT we get a very good result for all concerned.
I will always tell you how it is with every firm we deal with. So, don't lend your ears to others who might very well be biased, unintentionally or otherwise. I've seen a few people miss GREAT opportunities because of this. Its always best to get vetted, 1st hand advice...and that's NOT always from family or friends!
So, I invite you to speak to me. Right, let's dive in below...
